Based in Northcote on the North Shore of Auckland City, we have been teaching aikido since 1992. Aikido is a Japanese martial art which aims to de-escalate conflict and is much more than just a martial art, self defence or fighting system. Aikido differs from other martial arts in embracing the concept of non-resistance and blending with an attack to access its techniques.
